i2 Wealth Financial Planning Investment Philosophy

The guiding principle used by i2 Wealth Financial Planning is to take care as every client has different aims, objectives, outcomes, and financial situations and consequently each client will need to have a tailored investment strategy to best meet their personal situation.

This guiding principle provides a consistent focus and view when determining a client’s investment strategy and the resulting portfolio of investments. Each client’s portfolio will include a diversity of investments to manage the overall risk and rewards of investing.

Investments may include, cash, fixed interest, equities (domestic & international), property, infrastructure, across and within asset classes, industry sectors and investment styles.

Our View about Markets and Investments

  • The history of markets shows that over time the market has always risen positively;
  • Accounting and taxation arrangements are an integral part of developing an investment strategy for a client;
  • The net outcome of a client portfolio is more important than the fees and costs associated with the investments in a client portfolio. A client portfolio net outcome can be higher by paying more fees and costs for particular investments, than choosing a portfolio with lower fees and costs.

Investment Philosophy

For all client questions and enquiries, we will make ourselves readily accessible for communications and we will be open and transparent. For our clients we aim to:

  • Take care in developing an investment strategy and portfolio of investments to meet each client’s personal situation;
  • Ensure clients cash & liquidity is aligned to their needs
  • Manage risk of a client portfolio by including a diversity of investments to lower volatility risk without compromising returns;
  • Take a short and long term overview of investments in a client’s portfolio;
  • Select investments that aim to preserve and grow the portfolio;
  • Review a client’s strategy and investments to confirm that the strategy remains the appropriate to meet a client’s aims and needs;
